And you thought buttercups were yellow . . .

What a morning. I thought I knew a thing or two about editing software. But, sadly I’m not as informed as I thought I was. Still, here I am, typing away at the computer and magically words are appearing that will be sent out all around the world. Is that what I want? What if I say something stupid, or irrelevant, or worse yet — what if I’m completely wrong? Sigh. And what about this name? Green Buttercups? Yes, it’s true that most of the web names that contain “green” have been taken, and the ones that remain are sad, sad choices. But not buttercups. Buttercups are happy. They’re the first indication of spring, that beautiful time of year when the temperatures start to warm, we shed our winter clothes and embrace nature waking up all around us. They’re happy little flowers on strong green stems that remind us that we too can push through the frozen mud to a fresh new world. They aren’t earth changing. They’re just buttercups. And that’s what we’re going to spread. Tiny little bits of information about people who are changing the world, one buttercup at a time.
